Now-a-days the internet companies are not so far to helping or attending in the social work. And Google is always first to take part in the social works. In a very near time Cyclone Nargis hit the Myanmar. So now Google plays an important role for support victims of the cyclone in Myanmar.

Myanmar is a developing country. Most of the people of the country depend on cultivation. Their national success is also depending on agriculture. And their mostly cultivated crop is paddy. But most of the rice growing heartland has been destroyed by the cyclone Nargis. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) associated press reported that, 5 states hit hardly by Saturday’s cyclone which produced 65 percent of the country’s rice. FAO also said that the cyclone hits 80 percent of its aquaculture, 50 percent of its poultry and 40 percent of its pig production. A lot of people are dead, uncountable people are injured and great number of people are missing. Others, thousands of homeless people are now slept on the street.

“There is likely going to be incredible shortages in the next 18 to 24 months,” Sean Turnell, an economist specializing in Myanmar at Australia’s Macquarie University told AP. “Things will be tough.” The CNN reported about it.

So many countries, organizations and person are coming in front for their helping. “The United States has made an initial aid contribution, but we want to do a lot more,” Bush said. “We are prepared to move U.S. Navy assets to help find those who have lost their lives, to help find the missing and help stabilize the situation.”

Google arranged a page where people can donate money directly to the UNICEF or Direct Relief International. Millions of people visit this site everyday.
