No more HostingZoom!

I started getting some serious problem with HostingZoom at end of August when I noticed my log is getting filled with error messages. After getting a close look, it turns out that I am getting killed by there server due to exceeding my limit of “resource usage”. :(

After spending more than 48 hours and my best effort to sort out this issue with them, I am deeply disappointed with their efforts and responses I have been getting for my tickets. They can’t handle my BestoftheWebs Directory even when at this time, I only have 644 categories and 200 active links.

I am getting “Internal Server Error” message when trying to download 7MB of DB backup. (In .zip format it’s just 660kb). I am getting error message when there are bots crawling the directory. And I am getting error message even when I am working on phpLD admin control panel. I even got complains from my users.

So, if you plan to run a directory with HostingZoom, you are going down. Their support wouldn’t provide a “Detail” log as to what kind of limit you were hitting. And they will just ask you to move to “Dedicated server”.

Be very sure not to use HostingZoom if you are running a web directory.

This message comes from one of my friends; I had one reseller package there. I think I was there for almost 6 months. My major sites were hosted there and I got the same kind of problem. They asked me to upgrade my hosting into their VPS package.

Hosting Zoom providing very limited DB connection for reseller user, when you exceed that limit, you and your users will get “Internal Server Error” message!

So, think again before buying any reseller package from HostingZoom!

$20 reseller package

We know everybody about site5 hosting company; they are offering an awesome $20 reseller package.

Here is the offer:
Disk space: 10 GB
Bandwidth: 2TB
3 IP Address

And you will get $100 discount if you are ordering for 1 year hosting.

Recently I have decided to buy a reseller package, so this offer is really awesome for me.

I am getting few serious problems with my VPS; also I don’t have enough knowledge about managing a VPS. For this reason I am hardly thinking to migrate again into reseller hosting.

I was ready to sign up there but I am thundered that Site5 Company doesn’t accept payment via PayPal. I have emailed them regarding this. They said, site5 is working on PayPal payment option, soon they will accept PayPal.

Happy to know that!
